About the Role
An excellent opportunity for a talented Financial Analyst to join the Financial Planning & Analysis team at our global investment management firm in Canary Wharf. You’ll play a key role in providing critical financial insights that inform strategic decision-making across the business, working closely with senior stakeholders to drive performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and scenario analysis
- Prepare monthly management reports and variance analysis
- Support the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting processes
- Identify trends and insights from financial data
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions
- Present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Collaborate with business units to improve financial performance
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience
- 3+ years’ experience in financial analysis roles
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to translate complex financial concepts for non-financial audiences
- Experience in investment management or financial services (preferred)
